I think Zadarov is a beast! He is definitely the future anchor of Colorado's defense.

He'll get traded right after Matt Dutchene.

Can't see any way he goes back to Russia. Colorado will end up giving him whatever he wants before they let that happen.

How long is Roy going to get the blame? Sounds like Leaf fans blaming Ballard for years. I think Sakic is gun shy to pull off a deal. They gave ROR away for basically nothing so now he wants to try and get way more then someones worth.

He gets a big chunk of the blame last season and the seasons fore that.

This season going fwd, this will be all on Sakic and Bednar.

You really cant fault a GM who built a roster for his HC and VP of Hockey Ops who wants to play the game with his chip and chase big fwds then have him quit on the team when he didnt get his way of moving out the core talented guys with speed.

Bednar gets a free past from last year, he had to retain all of Roys coachign staff, comes in mid august, a chunk of his core guys are at the World Cup and misses training camp.

It was a mess from the get go, and for me thats goes on Roys shoulders for not adapting and for Sakic for not being the boss and putting his stamp on the team over Roys
